Antimicrobial test methods:

The plastic surfaces of the DECT phone, desktop charger and belt clip are protected by a coating with a BioCote compound, which has been proven to inhibit the growth of certain viruses and bacteria on the surfaces of the telephone by up to 99.9%*, as confirmed by independent laboratory tests in accordance with the following ISO standards:

  • ISO 22196-2011 - measurement of antibacterial activity on plastics and other non-porous surfaces
  • ISO 21702-2019 - measurement of antiviral activity on plastics and other non-porous surfaces
